Flying Frontier To Denver 5/8 ? - The plane is full, so, with so many folks, I am hoping that someone can help me take a puppy in her crate from SJD to Denver on Frontier Airlines on 5/8. Just to check her in. They only allow two crates per person and I've already got 2 crates with me. This little stray has a home in Colorado if we can get her there. I'll be at the airport early that morning to check in. It's all paid for, the crate, the vet, the ticket price. Just need a person to check her in as theirs. No $$, no responsibility. I'll be on the flight and pick her up at customs in Denver.

A very dark brown, almost black, medium size female, about 1 to 3 years old wearing a plaid well worn thin collar showed up at my jewelry stand at Cafelix. I sent her away and she returned and slept all day under my table. I finally fed and watered her as she was obviously lost. While putting my things into the car, she jumped in. We all forget to do this for our stuff sitting outside. This is a reminder that any metal outside in Baja California Sur is prone to severe corrosion, especially the closer you are to salt water. Even galvanized hardware will suffer damage in this environment. All equipment outside should be inspected and maintained at least annually, if not every six months to prevent permanent damage from salt spray and corrosion.
We have seen some Satellite TV and Internet dish hardware so badly damaged that the bolts were frozen and snapped off when we tried to loosen them. Corrosion will also weaken the anchor bolts holding antenna bases or solar panel supports to the roof. If you have a satellite TV or Internet dish located outside, now is the time to inspect your gear before the summer rains and winds arrive.
