there is access road from Ensenada to San Vicente and Vicente Guerrero
but Colinia Lazaro Cardenas and San Quintin still close due to the colaps of the
Santo Domingo BRIDGE and arroyo. there is no access yet.
The Government will past the roads first in order to get water, food and gas to all this communities,
some of them have phone service now, but no electricity yet.

Baja Road Conditions - As of this afternoon, the roads appear to be open again coming down Highway 1 through Baja California Norte. Bypasses have been built around a number of downed bridges, and some sections of the roadway are one lane due to erosion of the road bed. There is a lot of repair work, but trucks and cars are getting through.
Best to monitor conditions closely tho, as another storm is predicted to hit Baja later this Wednesday night and tomorrow. Additional rain is forecast within the next 36 hours and this will jeopardize the bridge bypasses as the waters rise. Sweetest Puppy Anywhere Needs Home! - A few days ago an adorable little puppy started hanging out outside our rented casita. She is clearly homeless, and yet is one of the coolest dogs I have ever met. She has big brown eyes, and a nice golden brown coat with black trim. She is gentle, affectionate, playful, and also very mellow - not hyper. Elegant proportions. A fast learner, (she already knows sit and stay, and is great with my four year old daughter.) I am so impressed with her, I would bring her home to NYC myself, except we already have one dog in a small apartment. I've already taken her to the vet -- she is five months old, 8 kilos, has been immunized and is generally healthy. Lost Dog - Please help us find our dog! There was an accident on Sunday, January 3rd around 2 pm at KM 224 1/2 on highway 1, 55 km north of the Bahia Los Angeles turn off at Punta Prieta. Our dog was inside the van that rolled and when he got out he ran off into the desert and we were unable to find him after searching hours and days.
His name is "Pickle". He is a tan lab/great dane mix. He is very Friendly, but I'm sure very scared. He was wearing a collar with a name tag that had our numbers on it; both U.S. and Mexico. He was last seen by a witness, running west into the desert at km 224 1/2.
