I was going up the hill at 9:30 am approaching the mercado del sol on the highway and a young American lady decided to cross the highway in her VW bug right in front of me. Arizona To Los Barriles Via Baja Ferries - Wondering if anyone will be traveling down through Nogales to Topolobampo then taking Baja Ferries to La Paz and points south early December. Would like to caravan down with others - It has been my experience that crossing the border on a Sunday, and heading towards the ferry appears to be less congestion at the port as all the big trucks always aim to get to their destinations on or before the weekends. I also prefer early December crossings as the winds later in December can be pretty brutal rough crossing on the ferry.
