Series Of Arson Fires In Todos Santos - There has been a spate of arson fires this last week near Chito's tienda and the Elementary School in El Otro Lado past Castle Dracula. One home was badly damaged by this. Please stay vigilent and report any suspicious activity to the police. - 
Starband Satellite Internet Service May Be Going Away - If you have Starband Satellite Internet, you may want to contact your dealer. Apparently, the company is planning a move to another satellite that has reduced coverage in Baja California Sur. Found Shepperd Type Female Dog Went To Humane Society - due to an overload of dogs, I had to take the dog I found at km.88 on T.S. Highway to the Humane society in Cabo since no one claimed her after 2 weeks. Broke my heart to do so, but the really nice lady who took her in at the humane society shelter in Cabo assured me the dog would be well cared for and a good home would be found for her...as I took in the dusty, hot landscape of the urban sprawl that Cabo has become, where the struggle for survival for the populace supersedes the life of a poor, blameless mutt...the dog was escorted with a leash to her new shelter, she looked back at me wondering about her future...I don't handle guilt very well, especially when it comes to good dogs...I think she would be better off in Canada, or Washington, I don't know...yeees, just...not here...unless the right person would take charge, as I have with the 5 houndz I am juggling...but people are too busy...and some are allergic, and some are ...!?...though I know there are also some very good dog owners and that gives me hope for dem dawggiez. -
