HOUSE SITTER AVAILABLE  - I highly recommend Felipe Jimenez my neighbor, and his wife Rena is my Gardener .   They are available to house sit.  Felipe is a fabulous gardener, reliable, detail oriented, trust worthy and fun. He speaks some English. He also can build carports, bodegas, and paint houses.  Again he is  very detail oriented.

 WAL-MART COMING TO CABO  -  Last month, Wal-Mart won preliminary approval over opposition from some residents to build a store in Cabo San Lucas, in Baja California Sur - the only one of Mexico's 31 states where it currently does not have an outlet.

 ARTISTS' PRE-HOLIDAY EAST-CAPE SALE  - Local artists are coming together for a PRE HOLIDAY SALE on Saturday November 18th from 9 am to 2pm.  Come join us for some snacks, pretty environment and browse some locally made crafts and art.  FLYING DOGS  - Does anyone have experience or can refer me to someone who does. My daughter is flying her large Lab puppy in and out of Cabo via Alaska air and has been told that she needs health certificates at both ends of the trip, before arriving and leaving Mexico. She's worried that she won't have access to her dog for several hours from Calgary to Cabo and may not be able to see the dog in LA where I think she goes thru' customs. Thanks for any info / referrals.

 MYSTERIOUS INSECT EGGS  - I found mud tunnels in several places inside my house when I arrived in October.  They were about 1/4" wide and mostly empty.  Too small for wasps.  Did see a few eggs.  Does anyone know what they are?  Termites?  They were mostly on the concrete walls and tile but had bored into wood in several places.

 RESTAURANT REVIEWS  - We are inviting everyone to contribute to this new section of BWU.    Please tell us about your favorite restaurants in and around Todos.  La Paz and Cabo recommendations are welcome as well as we are all traveling back and forth with those endless errands and need a reward along the way!! 

 ANA SAN
This new restaurant and fish market is located at the Oasis.  At last a fish market in town!!! She serves sashimi, sushi, tempura and teriyaki.  Recently two of us shared a plate of sashimi, an order of California roll and a lovely green salad with lovely fresh greens and a very tasty dressing.  The cost before tip was $230 pesos and we were quite full and very pleased with everything.  She is not yet able to serve beer or wine but hopes to soon.  BYOB for now.
