HURRICANE PAUL - Latest predictions place the center passing about 50 miles south of Cabo San Lucas. We'll keep everyone posted as we get new information. This was the predicted track as of 2 PM today:

RE BUG WARS AND CHINESE CHALK. Boric acid is a safe and effective pesticide for crawling things, and Chinese Chalk may have once been just boric acid. But I refer you to this link at the EPA which describes this product as a toxic and dangerous chemical pesticide.
