Dear Larry Taub,

Recently Hurricane John hit Baja California Sur, Mexico. Some of the
hardest hit communities along the peninsula have been Mulegé and Santa Rosalia.
The International Community Foundation www.icfdn.org
is currently accepting online tax deductible donations to help get emergency
supplies down to these impacted communities. To donate online:

The
funds will be given to the Manhattan Beach Sister City Committee, a registered
501c3 organization with existing ties to ICF. For more details about their
organization please visit www.mbsistercity.org.
Rotary clubs in both Mulege and Santa Rosalia will be designated to receive and
distribute goods
Funding will go to purchase emergency supplies including
food, water, and medical supplies for these isolated communities.
In the
coming days, ICF will be receiving a report from the State Government of Baja
California Sur with a state-wide needs assessment by municipality highlighting
the hurricane related damages. Details of the impacts of Hurricane John on
Mulege can be found in today's edition of the San Diego Union -
